COMPREHENSIVE PODIATRY CARE

What Is Podiatry?

Podiatry focuses on assessing, diagnosing, preventing, treating, and managing conditions of the foot and lower-leg structures that affect the foot or foot function. Care may include clinical assessment, conservative treatment, custom orthotics, wound care, in-office procedures, footwear guidance, and surgical consultation when appropriate.

Our podiatrist develops an individualized care plan based on your symptoms, medical history, activity level, footwear, and treatment goals.

When Should You See a Podiatrist?

Consider booking a podiatry assessment if you are experiencing:

• Persistent or worsening foot or ankle pain
• Heel pain, arch pain, or pain in the ball of the foot
• A sports-related or overuse injury
• An ankle sprain, weakness, or recurring instability
• An ingrown toenail, fungal nail, or recurring plantar wart
• Bunions, hammertoes, arthritis, or another foot deformity
• Flat feet, high arches, or changes in the way you walk
• A diabetic foot concern, wound, infection, numbness, or circulation change

FOOT AND ANKLE PAIN

Heel Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Arch Pain, and Forefoot Pain

Foot pain may develop from injury, overuse, footwear, arthritis, changes in foot structure, or the way pressure moves through the feet while standing and walking. A podiatric assessment helps identify the underlying cause rather than focusing only on the location of the pain.

Treatment may include footwear changes, activity modification, stretching or rehabilitation recommendations, padding, bracing, custom orthotics, therapeutic injections when indicated, or other individualized treatment options.

SPORTS INJURIES AND BIOMECHANICS

Foot and Ankle Care for Active Patients

Running, walking, workplace activity, and recreational sports can place repeated stress on the feet and ankles. We assess acute injuries, overuse conditions, tendon and ligament problems, recurring ankle sprains, instability, and pain associated with activity.

A biomechanical and gait evaluation may be recommended to assess alignment, movement, pressure patterns, footwear, and factors contributing to pain or recurring injury.

CUSTOM ORTHOTICS

Personalized Support for Your Feet and Movement

Custom orthotics are designed around your individual foot structure, walking pattern, footwear, daily activities, and clinical needs. The assessment process may include a comprehensive foot and ankle examination, biomechanical and gait evaluation, and 3D foot scanning when appropriate.

Orthotics may be recommended for heel or arch pain, plantar fasciitis, flat feet, high arches, forefoot pain, gait abnormalities, recurring injuries, or discomfort associated with walking, standing, work, or sport.

INGROWN TOENAIL TREATMENT

Care for Painful or Recurrent Ingrown Toenails

Ingrown toenails may cause pain, redness, swelling, drainage, or infection. Recurrent or advanced cases may require more than routine nail care.

Following an assessment, treatment may include conservative care, partial or total nail avulsion under local anesthesia, or chemical or surgical treatment intended to reduce recurrence. Infection assessment, aftercare instructions, and prevention guidance are provided as appropriate.
